The site was affected by overland flow path over multiple lots. The proposed building was designed to mitigate the flooding impacts. The building was suspended on piers to allow safe passage of overland flow through the site. Areas were no flooding occurred were filled. The immediate properties upstream of development observed a decrease of up to 50mm of overland flow depth.
